Qumasiquamé first plunged into the world of dance music after hearing his step-dad’s jungle cassette tapes somewhere in London’s Kilburn neighbourhood. His sets showoff a love of breaks, from drum and bass to jungle, as well as an affinity for reggae, house, garage, and grime.
His sets are driven by a desire to share his musical past and history over the last two decades, combining it with the energy and the environment that surrounds him today. Qumasiquamé is part of Berlin’s Through My Speakers crew – a family united by their shared love of bassy music.
