Network Speed Dating

SHAPE, SoCCoS, ENCAC and ICAS Networks

Speed Dating at CTM 2015. Photo by Torsten Oetken.

This speed dating session gives an opportunity for local artists and professionals (visual artists, performers, musicians, sound art producers, designers, etc) to meet and present their work to organisations and partners leading diverse European network initiatives, SHAPE, SoCCoS, and ENCAC, as well as the international ICAS network. Participants will have 8 minutes per “date” to present their organisation or project before moving onto the next representative.

Directly following the Meet & Greet for Collaborative Networks, which presented the Sound Heterogeneous Art and Performance in Europe (SHAPE), Sound of Culture, Culture of Sound (SoCCoS) and European Network for Contemporary Audiovisual Creation (ENCAC) initiatives, the speed-dating session invites all interested artists and potential collaborators to individually meet with select representatives from these networks.

Also present will be members from ICAS - International Cities for Advanced Sound and Related Art, a worldwide network that assembles over 35 independent organisations that support new music, audiovisual creativity, digital innovation and related fields.

Participation is based on pre-submitting a short application form, found below.

TIP: Participants are encouraged to bring music or audiovisual samples on their laptops, ipods, or other device, in oder to share their work during the session.
