Organised in collaboration with Norient, the day's discourse programme begins with a short movie and video clips from South African filmmaker Chris Saunders, followed by a discussion on rethinking music's potential for social change, presented by researcher Wendy Hsu. The day is rounded out by a panel on the Middle-Eastern scene with some of this year's performing artists: Maurice Louca, Deena Abdelwahed, Raed Yassin and Sam Shalabi.
