Just ahead of unveiling our full daytime programme come the final confirmations for the CTM 2015 music programme. The highlights in short:

Leslie García, the invited co-programmer of this year's MusicMaker's Hacklab, and Italian installation and sound artist Marco Donnarumma will both perform on Friday 23 January at Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien as part of the Hacklab opening, which also coincides with the CTM 2015 Exhibition Opening. The opening and exhibition are free to the public!

Later in the week, on Wednesday 28 January, Iegor Reznikoff, specialist in music and art of the antiquity and pioneer of archaoacoustics, will give a special solo a capella concert at the Kunstquartier Bethanien's Studio 1. The performance sees Reznikoff explore the resonant properties of the Studio 1 (which served as a chapel when the Kunstquartier was still used as a hospital) with his unamplified voice. In the tradition of Gregorian chant, he will perform pieces of Early Christian Chant (4th-11th Century), as well as his own composition, "Cantata Grand Magnificat". The concert rounds off a full day of Discourse programme events on the archaeology of sound in the same room, with lectures by Reznikoff himself as well as other leadiing figures of the field, Paul Devereux and Rupert Till.

The festival's first Saturday night at Yaam on 24 January swells with the presence of PC Music's Danny L. Harle and Sophie, an artist not directly affilicated with the upstart British label, yet who regularly appears along with the collective's artists. PC Music has been providing mostly free, online releases of its own brand of hyper-pop for over a year now. The collective's ability of absorbing virtually any influence and making it a part of its own warped pop totality has recently garnered much attention. If slightly more abstract, Sophie provides summations of the PC Music aesthetic of metallic pings, rubbery zoings, trance stabs, hardstyle kick drums, Eskibeat, vocaloid hits, and 8-bit heartbreak. Teki Latex, member of French electro hip-hip group TTC and co-founder of the Sound Pellegrino label, brings his party animal thrills to the same stage, which also includes Berlin local Kepler. Over in the second room, Franz Bargmann completes the OAKE album launch party, joining polish artist Zamilska, Berlin-current supported Shaddah Tuum, Grebenstein, the b2b DJ antics of KerriOake, and of course OAKE themselves. Dis Magazine affiliate Soda Plains opens the Yaam main floor on the second festival weekend, on Saturday 31 January, with a DJ set of all things hyper-glossy.

Berghain's Friday 30th programme, which already features Aleksi Perälä, Prostitutes, and Powell, is rounded out with French electro heavy-hitter Maelstrom, Night Slugs affiliate Egyptrixx, who appears ahead of a third LP to be released with the launch of his newly founded Halocline Trance label, and Gábor Lázár, a computer music composer and innovator noticed for his 2014 debut on Lorenzo Senni's Presto!? label and rapidly following 12" EP on Death of Rave Records. Upstairs in Panorama Bar, Full Nelson joins his Greco-Roman labelmates to round out the label's showcase.

Finally, CTM's collaborative concert series with sister festival transmediale are completed with the world premiere of "SINN + FORM", a new collaboration by Raster-Noton's Frank Bretschneider and sound artist Pierce Warnecke that will be performed Friday 30 January at HKW alongside the new collaboration between AtomTM and Robin Fox. On Saturday 31 January AtomTM and Fox will be joined by Gert-Jan Prins and Martijn van Boven, who will present "Black Smoking Mirror", a work that uses an flammable canvas and laser to explore reflection and memory via light engraving.

The CTM 2015 Programme Preview is available ahead of the publication of the full festival calendar, which will include the daytime Discourse series of talks and workshops.
