Session VII will be a celebration of our second year of activities but also the important result of some new collaborations such as the ones with LOOPHOLE and Arboretum crews. The Point of Perception, produced by Madi Boyd in collaboration with neuro-scientist at UCL, explores how much information the human brain needs in order to know what it is looking at. Here the project will be a further developed with the addition of sound and colour. Carrie C Firman is an emerging electronic artist whose work is inspired by studying and experiencing the crossing of senses. She sees synaesthesia not only as a sensory phenomenon, but also a fantastic world interface, responsible for completely unique perceptual experiences.

It is a minimalistic theremin circuit inside a stuffed animal/monster that makes the little fella squeak and scream when you press its belly/bum/head. Meanwhile in the main room electroacoustic composer Richard Scott (UK) and Electronicpresskit (USA) will perform with their analog devices and synthesizers. Geek out!
