Accreditation

For CTM and transmediale 2020

From January 24 to February 2, 2020, CTM and transmediale festivals jointly offer one of the world's most pertinent, adventurous, and comprehensive reviews of the way new technologies and digital culture are shaping our lives.

The press accreditation process is now closed. Successful applicants will be contacted by mid-January.

Access

Accredited journalists and members of the press should be aware of different access given by their type of accreditation. Journalists with proven intent to review the special events excluded from their accreditation should contact the CTM or transmediale press offices beforehand in order to arrange access.

Note that due to the limited capacities of CTM 2020 venues, Press Accreditations do not guarantee entry. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Recordings, Photography and Video

No audio recordings without confirmation from the CTM and/or transmediale press office beforehand.

While most festival venues do not have photography restrictions, exceptions exist. Photos are generally NOT allowed at Berghain/Panorama Bar. Downloadable high-resolution press images for most programmes will be made available for reviewers the following day via the festival's Flickr-account.

We also request that photographers DO NOT use flash in audiovisual performances and screenings, and that they remain aware of sensitive performance settings (quiet performances, special set-ups, etc).

All video documentation needs to be confirmed with the CTM and/or transmediale press office beforehand. Video is generally NOT allowed at all venues. If special permission is given, we request that videographers refrain from using additional bright lights.

High Resolution Press Photos

High-resolution press images of artists/participants, as well as festival graphics are available for download via the press sections of both festival websites. CTM also provides pictures from festival events for reviewers. Images will be made available the day following the performance via the festival's Flickr-account. All photos are for use as part of festival coverage only, and must be credited as specified.
