WedDocumented from early 2010 until 2014 in Indonesian cities ranging from Jakarta, Bandung, Bekasi, Yogyakarta, all the way to Tokyo in Japan, the documentary Bising: Noise & Experimental Music in Indonesia gives an extensive overview of the vibrant Indonesian experimental and noise music scene, which has been blooming since the mid 90s. The film is a platform for the musicians, artists, and writers involved in the scene, giving them a place to express their artistic gestures, approaches to experimentation, and their personal definitions of noise.
