Luke Turner is a writer and editor based in London. He is one of the founders of The Quietus, an award-winning and influential independent online magazine devoted to music, popular culture and the role of the arts in society.
Turner writes and has written about music for The Guardian, NME, Q, Mojo, Vice and Dazed & Confused and is a regular contributor for broadcasters including the BBC and Monocle Radio. He has recently completed work on a series of short films on musicians and their interests outside their art, some of which have been shown at festivals including the London Short Film Festival and Kinemastik in Malta. He also writes for Caught By The River, an online journal devoted to landscape and nature, on experience and memory against a backdrop of the English landscape.
