WedA 3-year initiative co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, the SHAPE project reunites 16 European festivals including CTM, with the aim to support, promote, and exchange innovative and aspiring emergent musicians and interdisciplinary artists with an interest in sound. The platform travels to North America's renowned MUTEK festival this year, to give a taste of its roster.
2016 supported artists Peder Mannerfelt and T'ien Lai, as well as last year's alums Aïsha Devi and Lorenzo Senni have thus far been confirmed. Representatives from all 16 SHAPE member organisations will also present to network and present a public session about the initiative.
