ThuIn this lecture, Noah Sow speaks about the conception and production of the gender-bending satire play "Radio Meta“, which aims at the deconstruction of sexism, racism and bias in the field of pop music and radio. Video clips of the work are shown throughout the talk.
The vocal artist and producer creates four radio stations of different formats, while speaking and singing all of the characters and contents (news, presentations, catastrophic interviews, music titles). With black humor and keen observation, Radio Meta unmasks the social functions of entertainment media.
