Performance by Mariska de Groot & Dieter Vandoren

Shadow Puppet? is a collaborative project by Mariska de Groot and Dieter Vandoren, that comes to life through the dynamic interplay of light, shadow, and raw optical sound. Beams of light, shot by de Groot and coded by patterns engraved in motorized wheels, interact with light sensors affixed to Vandoren’s body, composing a live sound piece.
