When she's not booking acts, Berlin-based selector Karima Furuseth brings her classic house infusions to dancefloors across Europe. The Norwegian-Algerian cut her teeth in Malmö’s electronic-music scene. Back in Oslo, she became a resident DJ at the renowned club Jaeger, where she honed her skills—and grew her music collection—with a weekly slot over two years.
Today, she appears on bills at some of Europe's most beloved clubs, spinning funky, mellowed house grooves for crowds at about:blank and Panorama Bar in Berlin. Karima serves as a booker for Øya Festival in Oslo and runs her own club night, Juice Box, at The Villa, which has played hosts to such acts as Courtesy, Honey Dijon, Shanti Celeste and Matt Karmil. She also moonlights as a music journalist, and has edited and written for some of Norway's most notable publications.
