Dieter Vandoren is a media artist, performer, and developer whose work alloys creativity and the arts with scientific research and development.
Drawing from a background in music and interactive architecture, he is interested in embodied engagement with audiovisual instruments. He is a guest instructor and researcher for the Hyperbody and StudioLab groups at Delft University of Technology, and directs the cultural centre, De Fabriek Rotterdam. He holds a Master’s degree in ArtScience from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, and Bachelor’s degree in Digital Communication from the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. His solo works have been featured at TodaysArt, STRP, Glow Eindhoven, STEIM, NIMk, et al. Vandoren currently resides in Rotterdam, NL.
