Brat Star[CA/DE]
Raised in Montreal but now residing in Berlin is Brat Star, a DJ working across genres to create high energy party vibes wherever she performs. She tosses techno, dancehall, and trap, among other, styles haphazardly into her mixes. Since moving to Berlin, Brat Star has thrown herself head first into the city’s nightlife, staging the SMH parties at St Georg.
Described by Highxtar as “a rebellious artist who doesn’t understand rules,” Brat Star has displayed her irreverence for DJ norms across mixes for coucou chloé’s NTS radio show and i-D magazine, among other platforms. According to Brat Star, “I aspire to be trusted beyond the borders of music genres or styles or whatever.”
After being invited to DJ at Infierno, a Madrid-based party by Spanish MC Yung Beef, Brat Star has become his resident DJ.
