CTM is pleased to travel Malmö’s Inkonst international art center together with longtime partner Unsound, to partake in the Intonal festival with local partners Elektronmusikstudion (EMS) Stokholm and Malmö’s  Inter Arts Center. The grand celebration of sound, light, and art will range from abstract experiments to new and inspiring dance music.

Organisers and Partners

The Intontal festival is a collaboration between Inkonst, CTM, Unsound, EMS, IAC, Goethe-Institut and the Polish Institute. This project is realised with the gracious support of Kulturrådet, Kultur Skåne, Malmö Stad, Goethe-Institut and Polska Institutet.

Inkonst is an international art center in Malmö, Sweden featuring music, theatre, dance, performances, film, literature and art all under the same roof. Our aim is to present the world of contemporary art and create a platform for the new upcoming, along with the already established generation of artists, directors, musicians, film makers and culture promoters, nationally and internationally.

Unsound is an amorphous music festival based in Kraków, with events in New York, London, Adelaide. They deal with vibrant electronic, experimental, independent and club music scenes from all around the world, often commission new work and collaborations, and like taking risks.

EMS is the centre for Swedish electroacoustic music and sound-art since 1964 and is based in Stockholm. EMS is run as an independent part of Musikverket (Swedish Performing Arts Agency).

Inter Arts Center – IAC is a meeting point for different art genres, for art and modern technology, for researchers and artists, and for experimental and interdisciplinary art. Inter Arts Center (IAC) was established by the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts at The University of Lund in 2011 and is located on the third and fourth floor of the old Mazetti chocolate factory in Malmö, upstairs from Inkonst.

Goethe-Institut is Germany’s cultural institute with branches all over the world, whose mission is to promote the study of German abroad and encourage international cultural exchange. By providing information about the cultural, social and political life, they want to convey a multifaceted image of Germany. Goethe-Institut Schweden promotes German culture and a current image of Germany throughout Sweden. They create a dialogue between German, Swedish and European contemporary culture through cultural events in collaboration with different partners.

The Polish Institute Sweden in Stockholm spreads knowledge about Poland and Polish culture and working with the Polish-Swedish cooperation in culture and science through financial and practical support. They arrange study tours to Poland and supports artist-in-residence program for Polish artists in Sweden. They also disseminates information about Polish culture and events with Polish ties in Sweden.
