CTM is proud to present a Berlin Current showcase within the CYNETART festival featuring two artists from the initiative's ever-growing roster. The New Sound of the City - Berlin Current presents young, unconventional, and experimental pop music from Berlin.

The programme at CYNETART highlights Moon Wheel's improvisational experimentalism and the post-industrialist duo OAKE.

CYNETART was established in 1997 and takes place every November, this year from the 13th to the 19th, in the Festspielhaus Hellerau in Dresden. The fruit of the Trans-Media Akademie Hellerau, it is an international festival for interdisciplinary and technology-based art and media. Every year CYNETART presents a broadly-curated experimental space or laboratory for artists to explore new ideas related to digital culture. A special focus of the festival is on how the integration of ever-pervasive technologies into our lives affects how we perceive and experience our bodies.
