Istanbul’s veteran DJ and expert crate-digger Bariş K, who DJs solo the previous night at Panorama Bar, will engulf listeners in the hypnotic powers of his duo İnsanlar with saz player and vocalist Cem Yildiz. Together they fuse improvised psychedelic Middle-Eastern folk elements with teasingly heavy basslines.
İpek İpekçioğlu is a longstanding force on both Berlin and Istanbul scenes, who proudly carries the title of “MC of cross-cultural understanding” (TAZ).
İnsanlar is a folk-fusion trio from Istanbul whose psychedelic, largely improvisational performances take their cues from Anatolian rock, electronic dance music and Alewi religious poetry. İnsanlar, meaning "humankind" in Turkish, was formed in late 2010 for a performance at Minipop, an Anatolian pop/rock revival mini-series inaugurated at the Istanbul club Minimüzikhol.
Based between Berlin and Istanbul, queer-living DJ, producer and curator, İpek İpekçioğlu has an established reputation across nightlife scenes worldwide. Her latest EP, Uyan Uyan, is released by the Katermukke label. She has performed at the Glastonburry, Fusion, Sziget, At.tension, Berlin Festival and many more international electronic and world music festivals.
Dragoș Rusu has been a constant presence in Bucharest’s underground music scene for over a decade now.
