MonAbleton certified trainer Maya C. Sternel, aka Donna Maya, gives a workshop on creating randomly generated melodies and rhythms with various Ableton Live devices. You will explore many MIDI-, Audio- and Max for Live effects to shape sound and build up a set-up with which to perform live or generate compositions.
If you want to participate in the workshop, please bring along your laptop and headphones. In case you don't own Live 10 yet, you can download a 30 day trial version on the Ableton website for free. In order to get the most out of the workshop, you should have an intermediate knowledge level of working with a DAW and basic knowledge of Max for Live.

Maya Consuelo Sternel, aka Donna Maya, is a Berlin based musician, sound artist, and the first female Ableton certified trainer. She plays theremin and produces urban electronic music, and has composed anything from turntable concerts for philharmonic orchestra and DJ to soundtracks, such as for Faith Akin's kurz und schmerzlos.
