Tony Marcus

[UK]

London-based Tony Marcus is a writer, who was a regular contributor to i-D and Mixmag magazines, covering the dance music and rave scene for a period of 10 years (1991 - 2001).

Marcus has written for other papers and magazines, and covered other subjects, but for a long time he wrote about parties, DJs, drugs, and music. For a long time it really felt like he was living in record shops, nightclubs, and on both the outskirts and deeper centres of both the music industry and numberless, obscure parties. He currently writes about fashion, music, film and perfume for the magazines 10 and 10+.
