“The 120 Megabytes Archive“ (2011 – ongoing)
120 Megabytes is Network Awesome’s spin on the MTV classic underground music video program 120 Minutes.
The weekly show brings together bands and visual artists, showcasing experimental audio and visual hallucinations in an expanded space between art and music as it can only be fostered by today’s Internet culture. Curated by video artist Mark Brown, the half hour shows that number some 60 episodes to date feature the best music videos with an unexpected link to the avant-garde.
Network Awesome is the world's largest curated online video channel. The team behind the network both curates content from Youtube and produces their own clips. While custom software recombines the individual clips and plays them back linearly to the viewer, everything is curated by actual humans. Network Awesome believes in the power of TV to inspire.
