DJ Panic is the moniker of Dutch DJ Dennis Copier. His career began in the Rotterdam hardcore scene in the early 90s, and his first major appearance was made at just 18 years old, at Terrordome in 1994. In the years following, he toured all over Europe, the US, and Japan.
Copier was a part of the Forze DJ Team alongside DJ Paul Elstak and DJ Lars, until they disbanded in 1998. Their output from the time includes the 1994 release, May the Forze Be With You. Since the mid-90s, Copier has been producing and performing with DJ Neophyte as Hard Creation; they are perhaps best known for “I Will Have That Power”, which features samples from Doctor Who and Sting.
Other projects of DJ Panic’s include the series A Nightmare in Rotterdam, Hardcore to the Bone, Decibel, Hard Bass, Project Hardcore and the History of Rotterdam Hardcore. DJ Panic and Neophyte also manage the labels Rotterdam Records, Neophyte Records, Forze Records, Terror Traxx, Seismic Records and Tremble Tracks.
