DEBONAIR is a club and radio DJ based in London. She is as comfortable in the booth as she is in the studio and has developed a signature style that juxtaposes genres, eras and textures. She has been an integral part of the NTS Radio roster since 2011 and her bi-weekly, prime time show has gained a loyal following due to its command of post-punk, coldwave, EBM, techno, italo-disco and classic house.
Having cut her teeth working at BBC 6 Music and Resonance FM, DEBONAIR joined the NTS management team at its inception, progressing to the position of Programme Director. In this role she programmed the station to reflect the most dynamic and underrepresented music and speech radio on air, quickly establishing NTS as an unparalleled platform for cutting-edge culture.
These days she's concentrating on her own show as well as stepping out as a respected club DJ known for on-point selections and invigorating sets. DEBONAIR is a regular in London's underground club circuit, delivering energy to venues like Fabric, Oval Space and Corsica Studios. She has shared bills with a formidable and eclectic set of artists including Nidia Minaj, Fis, Norman Nodge and Lena Willikens. Her own party (co-curated with Chloe Frieda) has hosted Borusiade, Karen Gwyer, Xenoglossix and Shelley Parker.
In 2016 DEBONAIR played sets at Bloc Festival and Space Ibiza and attained a headline residency at Oslo Hackney, as well as bookings in Krakow and Hong Kong. She's also been toasted by the press: she's featured in Pitchfork, DJ Mag, The Guardian Guide and Groove Magazine and made acclaimed mixes for Mixmag, Truants Blog and Blowing Up The Workshop.
