Wojciech Kucharczyk is the founder of the experimental Polish Mik Musik.!. label and collective. Having worked in music and the arts for over 10 years, Kucharczyk has produced under the percussive congo indie project The Complainer, sometimes plays as the band retro*sex*galaxy, and recently started producing noisy hardware dance-music, under his own name, Kucharczyk.
Born in 1969 in Katowice, Kucharczyk went on to graduate as graphic designer and visual artist, but quickly turned back to his childhood music ambitions, and has recorded over 50 records to name thus far. His cascading role as a drummer, singer, keyboardist, producer, has brought him to collaborate as part of musical projects Mołr Drammaz, hwdjazz, TerriTerrorTorium (with Felix Kubin), Pathman, Iron Noir, Dwutysięczny, and others.
Kucharczyk’s last two releases include the 2014 Best Fail Compilation on Monotype Records and Demon Techno W Okularach (2014) on Mik.Musik.!., his Skoczów-based initiative that has released albums by RSS B0ys, his own Mołr Drammaz and retro*sex*galaxy projects, Pathman, Go Underground To See More Animals, HWDJazz and more.
