Josa Peit[DE]
The Berlin-based singer and producer Josa Peit debuted a singular sounding series of lucid vignettes in 2015. Cutting across slo-mo disco, krautrock, and experimental electronica, her EP Constellation is a ride through otherworldly soundscapes that seek to engage you at every turn.
Prior to Josa Peit’s release on the German imprint The Gym, the artist set out as a prolific collaborator. She has teamed up with Brandt Brauer Frick, renowned German beatmaker Dexter and London based cosmic jazz collective Nostalgia 77.
Josa Peit's new material is a jungly affair. She weaves a nature buzz into her sonic fabric, investigating how to recharge under constant towering political and emotional voltage. At CTM she will showcase a piece of her forthcoming work.
