Jason Hou intertwines traditional Chinese instrumentals with fat industrial dubstep beats, thanks to collaborations with Beijing melodic death metal band Frosty Eve and Chinese Canadian composer & conductor Jin Zhang. Compatriot Hyph11E’s eerie dystopias combine vintage noise and industrial with contemporary club music. Her debut EP, which came out this year on Shanghai label SVBKVLT includes remixes by M.E.S.H., Tsuzing, and Kid Antoine.

Jana Rush is a Chicago-born-and-raised footwork DJ and producer. In 2016, Rush released MPC 7635 EP as JA Ru on Objects Ltd. – Lara Rix-Martin’s label showcasing women and non-binary artists. The EP received attention for its intricate drum arrangements.
Hailing from London’s Hackney is Serious, the MC who consistently delivers thunderous bars alongside Champion. The two can always be relied on bring dynamite to dancefloors.
Hailing from Shanghai is the exhilarating young producer, Hyph11e. Affiliated with the Shanghai staple Genome 6.66 Mbp (the collective responsible for releasing music from the likes of Rui Ho, Wa?ste and Dirty K), she was featured on their first compilation in 2016 with track “叶子”.
Beijing-based producer Jason Hou is part of Dohits and 2nd Sense Audio. His music is an exciting fusion of club music with traditional Chinese instrumentation, and forms part of the innovative, new wave of young club producers emerging from China.
