The "Resilience" thread of this year’s Discourse programme welcomes accomplished researchers and writers Paul Rekret, Robin James, Salomé Voegelin, and Brandon LaBelle. Following her performances at HAU1, CTM headliner Linn da Quebrada speaks to Stefanie Alisch about her practice and politics. A screening of the award-winning documentary “Bixa Travesty” follows, in which audience members catch a glimpse of Linn’s daily life and challenges. Across conversations with her friends and mother, Linn elaborates on her thoughts around empowerment and agency.
Due to circumstances outside of our control, we regret to announce that Venetian Snares will no longer play As If We Had Power at Berghain tonight. However, CTM is pleased to welcome Paris-based Casual Gabberz in his place. Counting the likes of Lil Crack, Draft Dodger, and Fatma Pneumonia as members, the crew can be relied on to deliver anything across the spectrum of hardcore, jumpstyle, hardstyle, and trance.

Native musicians and activists A Tribe Called Red are known for their blend of hip hop, dubstep, house, and traditional pow wow music. Their 2016 LP, We Are the Halluci Nation, is a testament to the enduring strength and importance of indigenous cultures. The group speaks to music journalist Lisa Blanning ahead of their headline appearance at Festsaal Kreuzberg.
From romance to quirk, a programme across SchwuZ's Kathedrale, Bunker, and Salon stages offers it all. Linn da Quebrada joins us again for a DJ set before Pininga takes to the decks. Sex-positive queer collective Lecken takeover Room II, and the likes of Pisitakun, dj. flugvél og geimskip, and Gigsta feature in Room III.

From acerbic, punk sounds to impassioned doom poetry, tonight’s Berghain/Säule lineup has much to offer. Tim Tetzner presents I Just Can’t Avoid the Void in Void, Manila scene stalwarts Caliph8 & Nonplus play live, renowned experimental club project 700 Bliss, and punk band Cocaine Piss delivers an unstoppable show. Live performances will be followed by a number of adventurous DJ sets.
If you missed tickets for the first two shows, Kode9, Infinite Livez, and Nik Nowak will present another performance of The Mantis on Friday 1.2. Witness the two-tonne monumental sound sculpture rear up in a biomimetically hydraulic manoeuvre, preparing itself to do battle at a height of four metres. The ticket price remains the same, and Gold Pass holders still have access to the event.
