The Editions Mego III programme brings together a mighty range of experimental artists from featured label Editions Mego’s musical dynasty.

The talents of COH (Ivan Pavlov), a core member of the raster-noton collective and of Cyclobe, and Tina Frank, the graphic artist who defined the Mego aesthetic, merge for their new project exploring the synchronisation of real-time generated colourfields and immersive live sound; a world of sonic micro-structures mapped in colour and pattern.

KTL is something of a metal/noise supergroup – a long-running collaboration between guitarist Stephen O'Malley of Sunn O))) and Editions Mego founder Peter Rehberg. Their most recent album, V, sees the group deviate from the metal and noise of their earlier works to tackle the musical processes of the European avant-garde, referencing the long, complex, and immersive drone techniques of minimalist pioneer Phill Niblock, who also performs at CTM 2014.

Chris Madak creates cerebral sonic assemblages as Bee Mask. His Canzoni dal Laboratorio del Silenzio Cosmico and When We Were Eating Unripe Pears helped to sculpt the aesthetic identity of Editions Mego exploratory imprint Spectrum Spools, and testified to the increasingly liquid relationship between experimental, cogitative electronics, and club music.

Russell Haswell is a relentlessly forward-thinking multidisciplinary artist, performer, and curator whose background in computer music, black metal, noise, techno, freestyle, and solo improvisation feeds into his renown for assailing the outer bounds of visual and sonic arts.

With his use of use of prepared CDs, Yasunao Tone is a pioneer of glitch music. A Fluxus-affiliated artist who has been active since the mid-50s, his work ranges from historical avant-garde to contemporary digital sound.
