Lecture by Diana Raiselis

What does a thriving nightlife have to do with more sustainable cities? And how do we express the value of nightlife culture to those who’ve never set foot in a club?

The world is working to achieve the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) by 2030, with ambitious goals that cover everything from gender equality and social inclusion, to sustainable resource consumption, to expanding economic opportunity. This session will connect that global framework to sustainability efforts already taking place in Berlin's nightlife and club culture.

Let’s talk about what sustainability really means, how nightlife and club culture can do its part, and—for both individuals and organisations—where we go from here.

Presented with Berlin Club Commission / VibeLab.
