SunFriends of the festival ĀBNAMĀ, Nyege Nyege Tapes co-founder Moroto Heavy Industries, Subtext signee xin, Hot Mass resident Boo Lean, DJ TVDiSKO, and Kasymin from Gabber Modus Operandi join the CTM 2019 after-party lineup. They will play alongside Yves Tumor, who joins us again for a DJ set.
Boo Lean (Lauren Goshinski), is an audio-visual curator and DJ behind some key underground platforms in North America. As a curator for New Forms Festival, co-founder of the VIA Festival, and resident DJ/booker at Hot Mass, she’s been recognized as one of the "top 50 women making noise" both on and off the stage.
xin is a Berlin-based artist, writer, and musician, whose debut LP, MELTS INTO LOVE, is “a deliriously psychedelic record [that] slithers in and out of the brain with the visceral body horror of a David Cronenberg movie.” (FACT) Released via Subtext this past September, the record mines fragments of neurofunk, hardcore, and dubstep to warp, mangle and strangle them into something anew.
DJ Angel, or Marlene Engel, lives and works in Vienna, where she has been performing since 2008.
Yves Tumor is the enigmatic ambient producer turned pop iconoclast. His most recent album, Safe In The Hands Of Love, received universal acclaim for its uncategorisable nature and haunting moods.
Moroto Heavy Industries is the founder of Nyege Nyege festival, and co-founder/resident of acclaimed Kampala venue Boutiq Electroniq. Moroto's DJ sets promise all good things electronic, with a particular focus on African rhythms.
Striking a delicate balance between vibrant joy and deep introspection, ĀBNAMĀ is a DJ known for spinning anything from broken beat to techno.
