In the first of four RBMA lectures at CTM 2018 taking place at Red Bull Studios Berlin, the avant-dancehall collective Equiknoxx will speak about their unique approach to music production. 

Kingston, Jamaica's Equiknoxx have made big waves with their prismatic, forward-thinking, shimmy-mandating latest releases, Bird Sound Power and Colón Man (both on DDS). Boomkat called the latter a "hugely inventive, compelling album for the ages, a remarkable iteration of Black Secret Technology for 2017 and far beyond." Their lecture will be followed on this same evening by a performance at YAAM featuring three of the collective's core members: riddim producers Gavsborg & Time Cow and vocalist Shanique Marie.
